The main reason I even bought a ps4 in the first place is for a game called No Man's Sky which drops June 21st. It was going to be for ps4 Xbox one and pc, all playing on the same server. But from what I gather they aren't making it for the Xbox one anymore.
For anyone who doesn't know, and may be interested, it's an open UNIVERSE exploration game. The creators came up with their own periodic table and their system generates everything on the fly. The game is soooo large, he said our real life sun would burn out before any one person could see everything. This game weighs in with a whopping 18 quintillion... yes quintillion (18,000,000,000,000,000,000) full size planets to be explored. And what's better? If you're the first person to discover something; whether it be a species of living being, a plant, any object, even planets and galaxies....you can name it.
You earn game money for discovering and naming things, which you can use to upgrade your space ship and stuff like that.
I saw this on late night with colbert. Or whichever late night show he hosts lol. I happened to turn the tv on one night back in October and was juuuust about to turn the channel, tv remote in hand...and thought "Meh, I'll see what this guy is talking about for a minute first" (that was the first time I even watched the show) and my jaw dropped and I instantly became hooked on this.
So yeah of you're at all interested, I highly suggest you hop on youtube right now and search for No Man's Sky Colbert
It's like an 8 minute video.
Enjoy
