PS3's Gears of War(Quantum)

It actually isn't a Gears rip off. Quantum has a bit of melee. The chick even uses a sword. I'm not going to lie this probably won't be as good as Gears but it looks good and hopefully it's successful so Tecmo and Sony get a notable IP. It's also less than half way done so who knows how good it can be.

The video had no mention of it being tied to Gears. Looks pretty tough but I'm not seeing the Gears connection.

It's 3rd person and has a cover system. The main character is also the size of Marcus Fenix. So generally people relate it to Gears because of these facts. I however can see this game is different but they definitely have similarities.
