What are some pushes that WWE has done but either pulled the plug on it for whatever reason or just cause the person couldn't get over but you wanted to see it work?

Kofi's push he had when he feuded with Orton was something they really dropped the ball with. They had the chance to make Kofi a main eventer and were doing everything right until they suddenly had Orton make quick work of him and sent him back to the mid card.

Obviously Kofi is the prime example and I really wish it didn't turn out the way it did because I would have loved to have seen where they actually went with him.

I guess you could you throw Ziggler into this category at around the time he was feuding with Edge and "became" world champion because I seem to remember him going backwards then almost immediately as I think he got drafted to RAW to be apart of that awful 6-person Mania match?

Swagger's MITB cash in could be considered a failure aswell because it was booked poorly, they serious'd up his character far too much and he just faded back into midcard obscurity instead of solidifying him as a main event player.

Definately Kofi, Ziggler and Swagger as you guys mentioned.

Muhammad Hassan, for reasons out of WWE's control.

CM Punk's first title run, it looked like he was about to really break through Raw's glass ceiling but an injury put a stop to it (which they then discovered was only very minor). Again, kinda circumstantial.
