Having retired from the UFC, and probably from MMA as a whole, Mirko CroCop is now the subject of interest from Japanese pro-wrestling outfits.

The former Pride FC star is a huge name in Japan to this day and is well known to the Japanese mainstream media as well as pro-wrestling fans.

His fellow K-1 veterans Jerome LeBanner and Peter Aerts have been making good money from pro-wrestling gigs in Japan this year.

Now two pro-wrestling organisations in Japan are turning their eye to CroCop, sources tell the GymRat. Expect to see him courted by one or both of them in 2012.

Would be a good way for him to make some big money before he completely retires. I am sure that he would be able to get five figures per match out of these companies and even though it would probably be a horrible match the Japanese crowds will love it because it is Cro Cop.

Hes got some appeal about him, being a real life Eastern European hard man, and not just some gimmick like Kozlov.

Hed do well in wrasslin, anybody whos seen his press conferences will know hes funny and charismatic too.
