Potential spoiler: Plans for Ryback v Punk

The current drafts write that The Shield will be interrupting the title match tonight. Apparently WWE were seriously contemplating having CM Punk not compete, and having Heyman actually wrestle Ryback - The Shield interrupting the match would have still taken place as it has been written in for a while now, and it looks unlikely that plans will change.

The reason they want Punk to wrestle is that they want this show to be memorable, and they want people talking, the thought of not having your WWE champion not compete is something that doesn't appeal to Vince McMahon.

As always with early reports, don't take them as certainties. There will be numerous rewrites of tonight's show.

From what I understand Vince has gone into Wrestlemania mode and wants every episode to have us talking. Cena and JR has said this one will leave people talking.
