More On TNA Negotiating With Former WWE IC Champion
Reported By RyanClark
10/7/2007

Source: Impactwrestling.com

As we reported earlier, the October 6th "TNA Mobile" text message alert contained a news item stating "TNA is in negotiations with a former WWE IC and European champion".
After doing some research at WWE's "Title History" page, I found that there are only 5 men who have hold both WWE's Intercontinental & European championships and are not currently under contract. Both Shawn Michaels and Triple H have held both titles but are obviously not eligible.

Of the five men who held both titles and are not currently under WWE contract, two of them are already under TNA contract. Those two are Jeff Jarrett and Christian Cage.

The remaining wrestlers who held both the WWE Intercontinental and European championships and are free agents are Andrew "Test" Martin, D-Lo Brown and Rob Van Dam.

Andrew "Test" Martin recently made several appearances for TNA. He worked without a contract and was sent home because of his unreasonably muscular body. TNA told Test to drop some some muscle mass and he showed up to the next taping even larger. TNA knows Congress is watching and Martin was too much of a liability to have on the roster.

D-Lo Brown recently wrestled several dark matches for WWE. Management was reportedly impressed with D-Lo's performance and liked that he is a talented performer without a "musclehead" physique.

Rob Van Dam recently stated in an interview that he would be open to working for TNA Wrestling. He put over the benefits of TNA's lighter schedule and was very outspoken about his final months in WWE. RVD saw the writing on the wall when Bobby Lashley won the ECW title and the remaining glimpses of the original ECW died.

------------------

Well, this basically confirms it...RVD is comming to TNA

EDIT: Well, I'll try not to jump to conclusions, so I guess saying RVD is comming to TNA is basically an opinion, because their is a possibility than it can be D-lo since im sure they would have said former World Champion if it was RVD, but I guess we'll find out soon

NO way, They would have said former "world" champ because RVD held the wwe and ECW belts. Why mention his European championship you know. PLUS they said negoitations....that doesnt hold much weight. Look at Goldberg, Jericho and Brock. They were all in talks with TNA.

I woudlnt surprised if its RVD, but i gotta hear more than what tna mobile stated.

Confirms What ?

Didn't TNA Mobile once advertise they were bringing in Sabu & Jericho!

Anyweis... why would they only put down "European" & "Inter-continental" when RVD's a former World Champion! If this has any truth in it what so ever & it isn't TNA just trying to play with us once again then it would probably be Test or maybe even D'Lo!

BTW... Since when do TNA need EVEN MORE Talent! They allready have plenty which arn't being pushed right so what's the point of brining more in!

Kid Kash is comming to TNA

Former WWE Superstar Meets With TNA, More News
Reported By wnwryan
10/7/2007

Source - Impactwrestling.com

The TNA Mobile text messaging system officially announced that Kid Kash met with company officials this past week in Nashville, Tennessee. The system also announced that the Ultimate X match will open the Bound for Glory pay-per-view next week in Atlanta, Georgia.

----------------

Damn, how many people are TNA trying to sign here!? First we get rumors of RVD signing with TNA and now Kid Kash, dont get me wrong...both men are great workers but...isnt TNA loosing money?? If so, why are they adding wrestlers to their already misused and overcrowded roster!?

The only solution to this is to fire VKM, Black Reign, Team 3D, The Steiners, and Pacman so that they can make room to actually use some of their talent AND the new ones that they are signing

Thery actually did say "Former World Champion". It was on iMPACT, and and the Midnight thing the Saturday before No Surrender. They didnt even say "Former IC and European Champ" that I saw. It was a "Former World Champion". I would love it see it be RVD, but I wont believe it till I see it

Wow, Rob Van Dam MIGHT be coming to TNA. It’ll be exciting for about a month and then he’ll just become another “Big fish in a small pond”.

In my opinion it’s probably D’Lo Brown. I love it when people over react about something’s “OH MY GOD!!!! TNA is negotiating with a former WWE Intercontinental and European champion it must be RVD"

I knew D'Lo was one of the only European and Intercontinental guys before you said. How? Because I'm just so smart like that. :) And eliminate Andrew Martin off the list, he was never released from TNA.

So RVD has been on the list to come to TNA for a while now I guess, considering every guy that leaves WWE is rumored to coming to TNA. So if TNA signs RVD won't that be great? He fits the hardcore style well, and he also is a huge star, and that's what TNA likes. But I read on a little thing called MySpace that RVD wants nothing to do with TNA, or anything to do with wrestling ATM.

All that's left is D'Lo Brown. I'm guessing that TNA will pick him up, but he'll just be like Junior Fatu, not having a "real" contract. He's working with Japan, which is affiliated with Panda Energy, which connects back to TNA. Him, Brock Lesnar, all the guys that we see with Japan have chances of coming to TNA.

^ If they got him and RVD, I'd shit my pants. They'd have WWE beat in a second.
