WWE’s website has a new storyline article up looking at possible successors to Triple H, should he lose to CM Punk at Night of Champions and be forced to resign as COO. The “possible replacements†they list are Shawn Michaels, John Laurinaitis, Stephanie McMahon, Teddy Long, Zack Ryder and the Anonymous RAW General Manager.

Regarding the RAW GM, who hasn’t been seen in some time, they wrote: “Ever since Triple H became Chief Operating Officer, the only mystery bigger than the Raw GM’s identity has been his or her absence. There have been no flickering arena lights, no ominous e-mail sounds, and thankfully no reason for Michael Cole to arrogantly proclaim, “And I quote.†However, now that The Game has put his corporate title on the line at Night of Champions, the anonymous Raw GM may view this as a perfect occasion to log on and regain control of Monday nights. Will the laptop return to its podium prominence on Raw SuperShow? For that matter, could any of the aforementioned COO candidates be the Anonymous Raw General Manager?â€

What do you think, I'd love the Anonymous GM Email to go back... Just bring Foley into this role!

I would hate for the Anonymous GM to return. I am glad that they have basically ditched the angle quietly. If HHH does lose and has to resign then in a storyline sense the only two that could work at Johnny Ace and Stephanie.

I'd prefer Johnny Ace over Stephanie (She's part of Creative Control) so it wouldn't bother much. If Stephanie was COO, we'd literally have Attitude Era back with everyone calling her names and such. It'd be like the good old days of Steph & HHH here haha.

We need something different, Foley comes to mind.

But if Stephanie was in charge she wouldn't allow them to call her names plus now that WWE is PG it wouldn't happen anyway.

I wouldn't mind if it they appointed Stephanie as COO and then she in turn announced Mick Foley as the RAW GM. She would still be the head of the company but wouldn't have to appear every week.

Shawn Michaels could be a good choice, but it won't happen, because I think at this point he is enjoying retiremen and just wants to make one off appearnces. Don't want to be Ace as he has no personaity and is annonying (not in a good way), also he does not deserve the role, Stephanie would make it feel too much like the 90's/early 00's and I don't want to see it turn into the Mcmahon show again. Long is unlikely because there would be no point in just switching him from Smackdown to raw just to do almost the same job, Ryder no way, and he shouldn't neither as he is not known enough yet. I really like the idea of the ARGM getting the gig as I think it would be a nice twist and would be a good way to round that storyline off, someone like Foley would be perfect! He's hopeing that HHH loses on Sunday!

Think Jericho could fit. They could come up with an angle where he talked CM into it or into the HHH match I mean the sole reason for it "being personal" is making fun of Steph something Jericho has done better than anyone the GM or COO role would allow him the reign to do other projects and he's less predictable than Foley.

Personally think they need to do something with the Anon GM angle I hate unfinished angles and seeing as how the computer is out there every week the sooner the better.

Great idea John! Really like the sound of that, and for someone like Jericho who can't really do much more as a wrestler, is winding his career and is full of personaity, and very over with the fans it would be perfect.
