As we noted last week in the PWInsider.com Elite section, there had been a lot of talk within WWE about the long-term future of John Laurinaitis, who hadn't returned to his post as top producer following his rotator cuff surgery and no longer held an office at WWE Headquarters.

As it turned out, a lot of people were surprised last night when Laurinaitis arrived in Greensboro, NC to work tonight's Raw taping.
