With the 2014 WWE pay-per-view dates recently being released, it appears WWE will be dropping either Battleground or Hell In a Cell in 2014. They will still run 13 pay-per-views however they are going to add a second pay-per-view to June, bringing back The Bash at The Beach. There is also talk that next year’s October pay-per-view may feature a War Games match, something fans have been wanting for a long time. The only potential hang-up is that Survivor Series usually features four-on-four matches and it would be odd to do a four-on-four in October and in November.

Eh, no thanks. Matches like the War Games shouldn't be an annual thing because War Games are for ending feuds between groups of people and that's not something you can count on needing to be done every year around the same time. It's the same issue I (and others) have with the current HIAC PPV, ironically (meaning that cell matches are meant to be the big ender of feuds and not something that happens just because "it's that time of the year again.")

Plus, the elimination chamber match was supposed to be sort of WWE's own version of the War Games match (albeit a match between singles competitors, not a stable war), and that already has it's own PPV.
