Pop-ups, these are like the most successful and popular means of advertising on the Internet today. I mean we don't hear about it often but many people must be fooled by these things. Also there are Internet Advertisements that are there on every other website we visit, even on the top of this thread you're going to see a Google-Ad. Have you ever actually clicked on any of them? And do you trust/ believe in the links that open up when the advertisement is clicked on?

When I was kid, I often used to click on these Advertisements and Pop-Ups. 'Type your name and create your own glitter', 'shoot a cellphone and get one', 'You've won a PS2, CLICK HERE!', 'You're the 999th visitor, congratulations, you've won!', clicked on all of them.

Certainly not fooled by these things anymore. But as a kid, I've been fooled multiple times. So have you ever been fooled by Pop-Ups/ Advertisements? The weirdest pop-ups/ advertisements you've come across...?

5 years ago or maybe abit more when it started; it tricked me for sure. That time I remember there was a pop up about a virus cleaner as they say I had a virus. So I clicked on it; they said that they scanned my computer and I got viruses, so buy this product and it will remove the viruses and spywares etc. The thing is, if you click on that add; it will actually drop a virus and addware on your system through IP gate channels and you will need the anti-virus to remove it. Its a cheap way to sell products.
