- The rating for Thursday’s “Hardcore Justice” episode of Impact Wrestling was down 13% from the prior week before as the show drew a 0.85. Last week’s show drew a 0.98 rating for the first week of “Hardcore Justice.”
Thursday’s rating marks as the program’s lowest score since an episode that aired on the Fourth of July. For an episode that didn’t air on a holiday, it was the lowest rating since May 30 when Impact change timeslots.
Viewership was down 5% as Impact Wrestling averaged 1,246,000 viewers compared to 1,320,000 the week before.

As much as I'd love to step up here and defend my boy and say "Chris Sabin = Ratings"... anyone with eyes can see that Sabin by himself isn't a draw. They were getting .95's to 1.1's with Sabin as champ, and now they're back in the .8's now that he's lost the belt.

Fans have been bitching about this company all year. We wanted something new. Something surprising. Something fresh. We wanted to see a homegrown TNA guy get a push and get some young talent in the main event. Sabin may not have been the first choice, but he was a choice. And for it to get any kind of ratings boost after that asinine hammer shot was VERY surprising.

So now it's back on Bully, which as great as he is, it's just the same old shit. Same old TNAwful finishes, same old focus on MMA, same old Aces and Eights. What was there to look forward to? If it wasn't for reading the spoilers I wouldn't have even considered tuning in this week, can't blame the ratings for being so low. And with the other company being the best that it has been in years, you guys doing stupid shit like this is even more embarrassing.

Get it together, TNA.

It's pretty good, you'd like it. Lots of the stuff you like in wrestling is on it + multiple Aries segments.

and with that, I've done more to get people interested in Impact than TNA has. Need to look into being a marketing director for Impact.

This.

Hopefully Aces and Eights bullshit ends at BFG and we get some fresh new stuff coming in. I can stand the MEM but I still want them out.

CORRECTION: Last Thursday's show scored a 1.03 rating, not a 0.85 rating as previously reported. The original rating was based off of inaccurate information. - PWTorch.com

:pity1:

First Hour Break Down

Q1: Impact opened with a 1.07 rating for Bobby Roode, Christopher Daniels, and Kazarian opening the show with a promo before James Storm and Gunner interrupted, plus one commercial.

Q2: Impact dipped to a 0.99 rating for the "impromptu tag match" that followed, one commercial, and the first-half of Manik vs. Sonjay Dutt in an X Division match.

Q3: Impact dipped to a show-low 0.91 rating for the finish of Mannik-Dutt and the first-half of a four-way Street Fight between Hernandez, Daniels, Joseph Park, and Jay Bradley, plus one-and-a-half commercials.

Q4: Impact was about the same with a 0.93 rating for the finish of the four-way match, one-and-a-half commercials, and the beginning of the top-of-the-second-hour segment.

Second Hour Break Down

Q5: Impact jumped to a 1.09 rating for Bully Ray announcing his new heel valet, Brooke Tessmacher, plus one commercial.

Q6: Impact stayed at a 1.09 rating for ODB vs. Gail Kim, one commercial, non-wrestling segments, and a teaser for the main event on the other side of the break.

Q7: Impact stayed at a 1.09 rating for Mr. Anderson's pre-main event promo, Sting's response, and A.J. Styles's return as the Old A.J. before the main event started.

Q8: Impact was essentially the same with a 1.10 rating for the high-stakes Main Event Mafia & Styles vs. Aces & Eights with a career on the line, plus one mid-match commercial.

Well damn, good news then. Reading this on ProWrestling.Net who referred to the show as "TNA Smackdown". Geez, they can't catch a break from the dirtsheets.

For what it's worth, the X-division not drawing = :downer:. Good to see the ratings were actually good, but kinda disappointed to see my rant up there retroactively ruined. :why: I was proud of that one!

What baffles me how can someone inaccurately miss the show rating by so much? I mean 0.85 instead of 1.03? That's just terrible.

Prowres.net? Go fuck their mothers.
