Police arrested former Mexican professional wrestler Jose Alberto Loera (professionally known as El Voltaje” or “Voltage”) on Tuesday after he was accused of being one of the four members of the Zetas drug cartel who planned the casino arson that killed 52 people.
According to the Associated Press, Loera was captured with two other men Tuesday in northern Mexico and flown to Mexico City where he was shown to the news media.
Gunmen entered the Casino Royale in Monterrey, Mexico on August 25, spread gasoline and set the building on fire, trapping and asphyxiating dozens in what is believed to be a case of extortion.
