DETROIT -- Michigan State Police said when an 87-year-old driver was stopped Friday on Interstate 94, officers found more than 100 bricks of cocaine in his pickup truck.
Police said Leo Sharp was pulled over for following too close and improper lane use near Chelsea. Police said a K-9 detected the drugs, which were in black bags in the bed of Sharp's pickup truck. In total, police said, 104 brick-shaped packages of cocaine were confiscated.
The weight and street value of the cocaine was not specified.
Sharp is charged with possession with intent to deliver.
