I've kept up with it enough to know how far a lot of fans have gotten to voice their concerns with the fact that there is no National Dex. But sadly I'm not in a mood to watch a 45-minute video on the topic. It may say more than what I say, but the situation has caused me enough anxiety.
I don't mind some cute memes once in a while, or to make one or two videos on it if you need to rant, but the extent some people went to including harassing one of the devs when he was trying to just wish someone a happy wedding or to make a fake account trying to make fake stories of harassment, is too far. And I get that some people don't like what they released for the game other than that. You have every right to complain and not buy the game. Not to mention that Game Freak has been making so many Pokemon games that it is likely that they have taken a hit in their capabilities which leads to what people see as cutting corners. But the levels it has gotten is terrible. I just want to be able to be somewhat hyped for a game franchise I enjoy.
I just hope after these games that maybe they can give Game Freak a good two-year minimum before they release a new Pokemon game, maybe three if needed. I wouldn't mind that much of a gap if it is improved more like a final product and best of all, we can have time to calm the fuck down and that way, if people are really that pissed, then the sales of Sword and Shield will be an indicator of what may need to be improved on.
