This will be an ongoing league of competitive Pokemon battles, all taking place on Pokemon Showdown!
Pokemon Showdown is free for everyone, just choose Pokemon and play!
WHAT IS THE POKEMON SHOWDOWN LEAGUE?
The PSL is for competitive Pokemon players to battle with others on the forum in a league style format. Winning earns points, losing reduces points.
To compete, you just need to fill out the form at the bottom of this post!
HOW DO I GET A TEAM?
Just fill out the form at the bottom and post it. Pokemon can be chosen 1 by 1 by each player in the draft.
Everyone will have 3 Pokemon from each tier, OU, UU, RU, NU.
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
Standard Smogon rules. Please read them here -> Rules - Smogon University and here -> Clauses and Banlists - Smogon University (for banned Pokemon and moves)
Other rules are:
- Only ONE Pokemon may know/use Baton Pass
- Only ONE Mega Evolution on your team. You must declare your mega (if any) in the draft
- You may swap moves/items/abilities on your Pokemon as often as you like
If you have trouble, please reply to the chat thread. Showdown makes this pretty easy though.
WHEN DO WE BATTLE?
Saturday and Sunday are battle days, whatever is best for you and your opponent.
Each team will play each other twice.
PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING..
- Keep a note of which Pokemon feinted who in each battle so we can keep kill counts
- Let us know how many Pokemon you had left when you win, 4 Pokemon alive is a 4-0 victory

[COLOR=#00ff00]BEGINNER/AMATEUR/INTERMEDIATE/PRO/MASTER[/COLOR]:Team name should be YOUR STATE/CITY + NAME OF POKEMON. For example, New York Mankeys or Pittsburgh Pikachus.
Pokemon should be your 12 Pokemon, don't tell us items, abilities, or moves.
For beginner/pro/etc, please answer honestly. This will be used for something fun.
