Photo: WWE Moving SmackDown Back to Thursday Nights Soon?

It appears WWE SmackDown will be moving back to Thursday nights. A photo below was taken by a fan at this week's WWE tapings in Texas. The SmackDown advertisement on the side of WWE's recently re-done production truck says the show will be airing on Thursday nights on Syfy at 8pm EST.

Regarding WWE SmackDown possibly moving to Thursday nights, a WWE source confirms their official statement from Wednesday that the move is being considered but no decision has been made. With the fall TV schedule needing to be put into place, the decision on SmackDown will be coming very soon.

As of yesterday, Syfy had not locked in their fall schedule yet so while it may be hard to believe, it's very possible that someone in WWE "jumped the gun" and had the production trucks painted without the official announcement.

Thoughts on it possibly going back to Thursdays?

RIP Impact, Moving days doesn't make a difference to me i just think it's time they make it live every week.

Would love to see it go back to Thursdays. I'm never home on Friday night and its hard for me to watch it. I could watch it every Thursday though no problem. I would like to see it go live instead but with all the budget cuts right now the last thing WWE needs is another live show.

Thursdays was a great slot for TV, Fridays was always a deathslot.
Seems like there in no Impact amymore, so why not go back.....oh and Smackdown doing this now just means that they didn't go back to Thursdays was always the TNA involvement.
