Pearl Jam will perform at Jay-Z's Made in America festival this Labor Day weekend at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, the band announced today. As of yet, Pearl Jam is the only act confirmed for the two-day festival aside from Jay-Z, who is headlining and curating the event, and art rockers the Dirty Projectors. Philly.com reports that Afrojack, D’Angelo, Drake, Miike Snow, Odd Future, Santigold and Skrillex will also be on the bill.
This gig is one of only three dates that Pearl Jam has scheduled in the United States this year. The band is also set to play at the De Luna Festival in Pensacola, Florida on September 21st and the Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta on September 22nd. The band will embark on a brief European tour in June and July that will include performances at the Isle of Wight, Werchter and Main Square festivals.
