Uk Veteran and recent Bellator signee Paul 'Semtex' Daley (29-12-2) will take on Rudy 'Bad News' Bears (14-10) in his debut for the promotion.

Bellator 72 takes place on the 20th of July in Tampa, Florida and is headlined by a Welterweight Tournament final bout between Karl Amousou and Bryan Baker.

Daley, who hold notable wins over UFC veterans Martin Kampmann, and Duane Ludwig, will look to rebound his split decision March Strikeforce loss to Kazuo Misaki at Bellator 72 following being release from Strikeforce at his own request after complaining he wasn't getting enough fights.

In a fight which will most likely earn the Nottingham based fighter a place in the promotions signature Welterweight Tournament, Daley admitted he was eager to be involved:

"The tournament format is something that really stood out to me," Daley said. "There isn't anyone sitting at the top of the mountaintop making decisions on who fights who. The fighters get to decide who is going to be the next champion, and that's how it should be."

Will have to check this out, not sure how the rest of the card is but i haven't watched any Bellator in a while.
