An irate Alabama minister Tased a pastor who had just fired him, setting off a wild melee at a baptist church that ended with a deacon stabbing the minister's mother, authorities said.
The unholy incident erupted Sunday in the St. Elmo community after the
Rev. Darryl Riley told minister of music Simone Moore that he was being let go and gave him a final paycheck.
Moore disputed the amount of the check and whipped out a Taser gun, sparking bedlam.

Several members of the New Welcome Baptist Church rushed the dueling clergymen. In the ensuing fracas, deacon
Harvey Hunt pulled a knife and stabbed the minister's mom, Agolia Moore, authorities said.
"I said, 'Oh my God, he done cut me," Agolia Moore told Local 15 News.
Moore, who suffered a gash on her arm that required 19 stitches, claimed church leaders ganged up on her son when he was fired.
"They owed him," Agolia said. "He asked them for his money. That was the big thing right there, wasn't no more or no less."

Simone Moore, 46, surrendered to cops late Tuesday and was charged with third-degree assault, the Press-Register reported.
Hunt, who is also facing an assault charge, has not yet turned himself in, the Press-Register says.
Riley told the paper
Moore Tased him twice on his left arm and bashed him in the head with a money box, opening up two cuts that required 32 stitches.
Moore flew into a rage when he eyed his final paycheck and demanded an extra $600, Riley added.

"The deacons and myself said we were not going to pay him because this Sunday was supposed to be his last," Riley told the Press-Register. "At that point, he pointed the Taser at me."
Simone Moore said he was preparing to quit and was carrying a Taser because he "didn't trust the situation."
Moore claimed that his meeting with the pastor and two deacons turned violent when he told the clergymen he was owed an extra $600.
Moore said the two deacons grabbed him and as they struggled, Hunt pulled a knife.
