Paradox Interactive Strategy Games Discussion Thread

Gonna try out Victoria 3 for the first time today. It's the only series in the Paradox line-up I don't have any experience in outside of Imperator (because it was expensive as shit and has mixed reviews).

Completely blew up the established county control I had in Ireland when I inherited as the next character and had to put down the usual rebellions but I took control of Dublin this time and moved the capital there. Gonna just have the map be like this for this character until I shuffle around when his heir takes over probably.

Also took over the islands on the West side of Scotland bc they were week af from a war with England. Wanted more but I was in debt lol

Slowly taking over more of Scotland while I'm playing as this character bc he's an absolute brilliant strategist and his son who just became of age seems like he's going to be great at diplomacy which I've had none of yet so that sounds like a good formula to keep however much land I can take

My court physician who has leprosy (separate issue) just gave me a successful enema

Also the diplomat son I was hoping for in my last post got assassinated before he took over but his son (the enema receiver) has been king since age 11 and I conquered all of the British isles to create the empire of Alba
