This week marks a month since the flooding started, and the United Nations says that, although it has raised close to 70% of the $460m (£295m) needed to provide emergency relief.
The Pakistan government has said that the cost of rebuilding after the floods could be as high as $15bn (£10bn).
Overall, about 1,600 people have been killed and some 16.8 million affected, according to figures from the UN and Pakistani government.
The floods started during July during the Monsoon season and they just keep getting worse. I read that at one stage more than 20% of the country was covered in water.
Terrible situation and the funding was slow to come in but thankfully it is moving quicker now and the foreign nations are sending in money, supplies and people.
I can never contemplate such things like floods since they never occur where I live, would be a horrible situation to be in.
