Total Divas Paige just "days away" from returning to WWE?

Paige’s return to WWE is imminent and, according to Alberto El Patron, it’s coming a lot sooner than we think. TMZ Sports caught up with Alberto on Thursday to talk about Combate Americas and fiancee. Alberto has no interest in returning to WWE but he says that he’s been thinking about MMA fighting.

Alberto said, “She’s getting ready. She’s in Orlando at the moment. She’s been there for the last 6 weeks. It’s gonna happen pretty soon [and] I cannot give you any more details because I will get her in trouble. [WWE] told her to lay low and not talk too much about it.” He said that she’s “probably days away from going back to WWE and doing something in the ring.”

A couple of readers noted to us that Paige and Alberto haven’t been seen lately in photos so I don’t know if there’s something to that or, as Alberto said in the video below, perhaps she is just trying to lay low and separating herself from Alberto on social media and doing her best to keep her her personal life under wraps.

So, when are they getting married? Alberto said that she’s busy with her return to WWE and the upcoming movie on her family and he’s busy with Combate Americas so maybe they will get married next year. Check out the video below:

Former WWE Divas champion Paige will finally return to WWE programming this week, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

Although there had been early plans for her to return on the Smackdown brand, PWInsider.com has learned that WWE will instead have her return to the Raw roster, where she had been originally drafted during the 2016 brand split but never actually appeared post-Draft.


The belief among several we have spoken with is that Paige will somehow end up on the Raw Women's team at the 11/19 Survivor Series in Houston, Texas, where she now resides. Bayley vs. Mickie James vs. Dana Brooke has been announced to fill the position of the fifth competitor of Team Raw this Monday for Raw in Atlanta. It's possible Paige is added to make it a four way or WWE runs some other sort of angle to have Paige replace one of the members of the team.

Paige has not competed for WWE since the summer of 2016, when she was suspended for the first of two infractions under the WWE Wellness Policy. Since that time, she has undergone neck surgery. In recent weeks, she has been working out at the WWE Performance Center in preparation for her return to WWE storylines.
