Okay name what albums you think were underrated, overrated and the album(s) that were good as u expected or let you down this year so far of any genre. Would be nice to see why you think that but you don't have to.

Overrated: (Jay-Z & Kanye West) Watch The Throne- This album got called the most important album in hip hop history by some magazine. Get the hell out of here, not to mention you have artist jocking this album even though given the artist involved it should have been a hell of a lot better. I could literally between the two of them name 10 albums from their catalog that is better than that album. Actually just Jay-Z's alone really.

Underrated: (Trae) Street King - Won't get the attention ir probably deserves but it was a pretty good album overall. Trae has had better albums than this but this is still better than a lot of albums that get mainstream attention.

Met Expectations: (Jay Rock) Follow Me Home - Wasn't expecting a classic for his first album but expected a really good album which is what it was no more no less.

Letdown: (Lil Wayne) Carter 4 - Now I'm not a Wayne fan so wasn't overly excited for it but considering he went and redid the whole album once he got out of prison I was expecting this to at the very least be on the level of Carter 3 (carter 2 was his best imo) and it wasn't Had some nice production but at the end of the day he stayed with the I'm gonna blurt out a million punchlines and not actually rap about something which was a let down.

Overrated - Adele Rolling In The Deep I like the album but I think it is overrated especially for a debut album

Underrated - 4 by Beyonce. I think her choice of a first single wasn't the best but this is a good album. Thing is people are too critical from the jump so the album isn't getting props like it should

Let Down Carter IV, finally got around to listening to it. Considering he went back and rewrote I expected more, but it seems something was missing here.

Met Expectations - None yet

 

[Kiffy Lube]

Overrated: I'll go with Watch The Throne even if I do enjoy a few songs off of it. I'm sure it's getting overhyped outside of North Dakota.

Underrated: Saigon's Greatest Story Never Told. WHERE THE HELL IS THE RESPECT FOR THIS?

Met Expectations: None, really met expectations, but I did enjoy Lupe and Talib's joints for what they were worth.

Letdown: R.E.D. was garbage.
