Personally I think it's been great so far. Fantastic to see a heel get booking as good as this and his promos and matches have been as good as I expected them to be.

It's been decent but could be a whole lot better. 6-7/10

He's been way more entertaining than pretty much his entire reign this past year, so I'll give him that

I don't know if we want to include this as Punk's run since he lost the title to Del Rio at Summerslam, but that whole part of the run was freakin awesome. That was one of the best storylines WWE had in a while. To be honest it's died down since then and I really can't remember most of Punk's title matches (aside from Daniel Bryan & Chris Jericho) It's starting to go somewhere again, but I have to believe that it's WWE's fault for putting Cena in almost every main event and not investing good storylines for Punk.

3 - It is a run of the mill gimmick, nothing unique about it and I personally think Punk could do much more with a different gimmick. The gimmick limits him severely.

I just dislike the entire "respect" thing, seems too generic. Other than that it's been quite good.

I agree. The whole respect thing is so bland. It's just a recycled heel gimmick undertaker used when he was the american bad ass. CM Punk needs to stay with the gimmick he had last summer and bash WWE every chance he gets.

He hasn't done much at all other than bring the title prestige down with a long dull reign. Just like JBL's year run.

I would have to say a 7. Like most of you, i agree that the "respect" thing is kind of getting old, but there isn't a better answer for a top heel than Punk. (In WWE anyway.) If they wouldn't limit him as much, and he starts talking more (which he does better than anyone.) he would roll as a top heel. I like Heyman being with him, but i hope he doesn't start talking for him. That would be a pretty bad move.

Hold on a moment. JBL did what he had to do. His title reign was terrible for me because that was when i cheered for mainly faces, but when Eddie took the title legitimacy was restored undoubtedly
