Orange Cassidy reportedly has a new role backstage in AEW.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the 39-year-old has picked up some additional work as a producer/agent. Cassidy is said to have produced the recent Big Bill & Brian Cage vs. Matt Sydal & Trent Beretta match on the 7/7 Rampage (taped 7/5). He also produced a recent Kingdom vs. Infantry match in Ring of Honor.

Cassidy is a 19-year pro after having made his debut in 2004.

Very cool. Good for him. And honestly, if he can get his schtick as over as it has become I don't see why he can't help anyone get other non-comedy stuff over.
