Here in Spain we are thinking that he's great , he was a average player here in Spain and then he was transferred to Swansea and he's doing great .. That how we think about him in Spain .. What's the English opinion?

He's doing good atm but is most likely a flash in the pan tbh, defenders just didn't know how to handle him as at first they weren't sure on playing style and such, but he's stopped scoring as much now so I think he's been found out imo.

To be honest he wasn't average in Spain, he had quite a good record for Rayo Vallecano and performed well in most games. At first I thought it would be a flash in the pan but his movement is great and his finishing is fantastic. I'm hoping he gets a Spanish call up, as there isn't many decent strikers in Spain at the moment and he fits the bill well. I think he can continue to perform like this as Swansea play incredible football which suits him.

As for the "English opinion" - he's a revelation here at the moment, a guy no one can hate on.

You're more likely to know than anyone but wasn't he the top scoring midfielder in La Liga last year?

Yep, he scored in double figures for a centre midfielder which is fantastic. I think it was like 12-15, in-between those. I can't quite remember, but I know he was the top scoring midfielder. The team itself -- despite their fight against relegation -- were a good scoring side, and Michu was at the heart of it all. But even I would never have anticipated him carrying his La Liga form into the BPL. I know he had a few assists as well actually, but yeah, what a revelation.
