One Year On...

[Grievous 3D]

So...the last year of my life has been pretty rough...at least when compared
to the 34 years that came before it. I went from never being a hospital patient
to having three operations in 12 months and going from having 10 toes...to 7.

In the last 12 months I have only spent 1 of those in my own home and I haven't
really done anything interesting apart from sit in a room with a laptop with access
to the internet.

But...

If there has been one upside, one positive, one silver lining from the last
year of my life...

It's finding and joining this forum.

On the 1st of October last year I became a member of the wweforums.net...
and while it hasn't been completely smooth sailing (you can't be friends with
everyone I guess)...I've honestly and truthfully enjoyed nearly every moment
I've spent on here.

I was part of a forum around 10 years ago and while I wrote many articles, posted
many reviews and made many, many perverted comments (that is basically the
"character" I play...a pervert)...that forum eventually went down...and I never really
found out why.

It was a Kaiju forum if you must know...and while I walked away from wrestling
once...I have and always will be a kaiju fan.

I never joined another kaiju forum and I never thought I'd join another forum
again...no matter what the subject matter was.

I'm glad I was wrong...

This place and the members within it have become very important to me and well...
I honestly don't know what state of mind I would be in if I didn't have somewhere
to express my thoughts, ideas, opinions & rants (positive & negative).

Now I know it isn't fair to play favorites...but I did want to single out some
members with a personal message....so...here they are...

Sorry for being such a pain in the ass with the RWK...thanks for the clean slate.

I'm glad me using fuck in my username has brought so much joy to you that you felt it worth mentioning xD

All joking aside, great for you man. I love reading stories like this, and though I can't speak for everyone else, I am personally as glad that you found this place and stuck around to become a big contributor as you are to have found this place. Some people look at these types of friendships and communities as nothing more than "internet strangers". But sometimes those "internet strangers" can help a person or change a person's life just as much as friends or family nearby. So yeah, glad to have you as a part of this fucked up, incestuous, argumentative yet loving family we like to call WWEF. Hope you stick around for many years to come (even if you ARE a filthy Australian who posted this like 12 hours before October 1st in normal people's time )

Well thank you and I am sure he does. Honestly, since we haven't even had a fight in over three months which I think shows he got it through his thick head how good I am to him

In regards to the Emmalina thing, I always believed that in order for people to be very good friends, you have to occasionally have a strong disagreement only to ne able move past it. No reason to give it anymore thought

And I've been very glad you chose to stick around. You're one of the few people in the world I feel like I can talk to whenever I have to have someone to talk to. And since I'm a major isolationist, you hopefully know what a compliment that can be.
