One Year of Dynamite

So, a year ago today, the very first episode of Dynamite aired. During that time we've had some great matches, some good matches, some BAD matches, and some matches that made you same with moments.


So this thread is to talk about the best(the best the best the best the best the best) and the worst matches, moments, etc of Dynamite from the past year.

Now, keep in mind this is only Dynamite(and you can count the Bash at the Beach and Fight for the Fallen from this year as Dynamite since it was just a Dynamite specials) so nothing from PPV.


One thing I got to give a shout out to is something rather recent, and that's the Parking Lot Brawl that happened recently. That was honestly one of the best parking lot brawls I ever seen, I hate I missed it live that night with everyone honestly. Like, watching it by myself felt so wrong. but it was really really great.


I'll go ahead and say anything with Private Party just was not for me, and just I would rather not have seen it.


Moments I loved was anytime that Sammy would be singing along(badly) to Jericho's theme song.

They are plenty more, but I'm going to leave that up to everyone else to name.​

Well obviously for me, anytime Mox showed up and did something cool, which in 2020, happened far less than it should

Though one of my absolute faves was when he pretended to join the Inner Circle and tricked Jericho Absolutely classic Mox moment and showed that he can be funny but not goofy. The wink at the camera was fucking perfect and then him getting the keys to the car from Jericho BEFORE revealing it was a ruse killed me!

it was pretty decent until they gave Mox the belt and it became a bore fest. I stopped watching now, MJF helped make the picture a little more interesting but yeah

Brodie was interesting for a few weeks too but now it's just all boring

I think most of the things that Jericho has been involved in, Title or not, has been really entertaining because that is just what Jericho does.

I've been pretty disappointed with Matt Hardy but I was reading that he stopped with his Broken gimmick because without crowd it just wasn't the same. So hopefully as the stands start to fill again we see more of that again.

As mentioned there have been some great matched but there have also been some that made you cringe at times.

For a first year I'd say there haven't done badly. It's keeps me tuning in each week. Admittedly on a delay because I watch NXT first.

I look forward to seeing what we look back on after year 2.

Most of my favorite Dynamite moments have actually been related to Cody. The first match on Dynamite against Sammy. Breaking the glass on The Inner Circle's press box and fighting in the concourse. The promo he cut to build up his title match against Jericho. Also, Jericho's parody of Cody's hype video. His moonsault off the cage onto Wardlow. Cody being destroyed by Brodie. Even the shit last week with Cody and Brodie was a big highlight.

The women's division was the lowlight for me, it hasn't been interesting at all. And it's a shame cos I like Shida and I liked Riho too.

The Womens division is so, so weak.

They have a global stage to work with so I think in honestly they need to get their shit together with the Womens division.

There are some wrestlers in there with the ability to make it good but are not really being given a stage to do it on.

It's all well and good doing a womens tag tournament. But when most of it is on Youtube and then it wasn't really for anything it kind of counteracts it.

Yeah, that women's tournament was lame. I didn't bother to watch any of it but the final and that was only cos it wasn't on YT lol.

Also Brandi is very, very annoying

Brandi has actually become a pretty good character to me. Her ongoing feud with Anna Jay, which of course ties into Cody and Brodie's feud, has been a lowkey good time.
