So I gave this another shot seeing as it dropped on Netflix recently and I appreciated it more the second time around. First off the premise is awesome, I'll always respect M. Night trying new stuff as a director, even if not everything always lands. There's a few things I do enjoy about it, the visuals are really great and I think for the most part it does a decent job keeping you interested in what happens next in the plot. I just really think the acting in this movie let it down in a big way, I think it gets a bit better when Alex Wolff comes in it for me, but not by a lot. I like most of the actors in this, so I was sad I didn't enjoy the performances more.
