At Armageddon Matt loses the title and moves over to ECW.
At the Royal Rumble Matt wins the Royal Rumble chooses to compete for the ECW title.
At Wrestlemania 24 Matt wins the ECw title in a 3 Way Dance against CM Punk and Kevin Thorn.
At Summerslam Matt loses the title to Punk and moves to Raw.
Soon as he moves to Raw he fueds with John Cena for the WWE Title.
At Survivor Series 2008 Matt beats Cena in a Ladder Match to win the WWE title.

Those are some pretty interesting ideas. I've been become a huge Matt Hardy fan over the past year, I used to not like him very much and only liked Jeff, but Matt is a really good wrestler and is really over with the fans. However I don't really ever see him winning the WWE title. I think that the idea of him winning the ECW title is possible, but I really don't think that hes going there anytime soon. They have kind of turned that in to kind of a developmental territory, but I really don't think that he needs to develop so I doubt hes headed to ECW. His best chance to win a world title is probably the Heavyweight Title in a fued with Edge. But, I could be wrong I just don't think that he will ever be a WWE champion, but the other two could be possible.

i would like it better if he eventually wins the belt for MVP, then looses it back to MVP around the Royal Rumble, then matt would compete in the MITB match at mania, win it and beat the world heavy weight champ edge, using edges own tactics against him....

The WWE would never, and I mean never, have someone like Matt Hardy go over John Cena.

It will never happen.

I can see Hardy winning the US title then later on maybe challenging Edge for the WHC at one of the low profile PPV's, but thats about it.

If I was to book Matt Hardy to a title run within the next year, here's exactly how I'd do it.

Matt Hardy wins the MITB at WM 24.

Matt Hardy challenges World Champion the Undertaker to a match.

During the match Edge interferes getting Matt DQ'd costing him the match and the MITB. After the match Edge goes to work on Matt's knee putting him out for x amount of time.

Shortly after Edge wins the World Title from the Undertaker.

During a World Title match after X amount of days. Matt Hardy returns, and jumps Edge.

Matt wins random Number One Contender match.

Matt beats Edge for the World Title.

Its simple and it makes sense.

I whole heartedly agree with you. Personally I wouldn't put Matt Hardy near a world title for a few years, but if his popularity stays as strong as it is, I would put the belt on him eventually. Even if it is just for a month.

I really don't think we'll see Matt Hardy ever have a substantial run with any World Title. Maybe, he'll get a very short run and then drop it. He would have to win the title on Smackdown and probably from Edge. If Undertaker or Batista is champ, I don't think Hardy would be able to go over in those situations.

There is no way he would be able to win the title on RAW anytime soon. You have Cena, HHH, HBK, Orton, Kennedy, Lashley, and maybe even Y2J. I think his best bet would have to be winning on Smackdown sometime next year.

While I wouldn't agree with Hardy winning a world title, I do believe that he has enough of fan following to make his title run a modest success.

I can see either Hardy or Kennedy or MVP winning MITB for WM 24....

I always like Matt hardy.. i use to like Jeff hardy about 2 yrs ago. but now he's a bit overrated...

he's just a spot monkey... He very rarely his great singles matches except His match with umaga at GAB 2007 is probably hsi Best NON Gimmick Singles Bout in ages...

but i have always like Matt he can wrestle better. Use the mic better than jeff hardy....

I would say if Matt hardy gets the U.S. Championship it would be an lengthy reign atleast. but i dont think the MVP/Hardy will end in the next 2 months i can see that feud going to atleast Royal Rumble 2008... Maybe ends in ladder match...

What do I think... you are also a certified Matt Hardy fan like me, lol...
Just like what others said WWE had no plan at Matt yet, but I think he fits on Smackdown and continue his fued with MVP before Survivor Series then he can have a fued with Edge, two or three years from now for the title...

I really like Matt Hardy especially since they seperated him from Jeff and put them on seperate beands. To be honest I never knew that he was capable of putting on a good show without Jeff. However I have see some dramatic improvement from him this last year. Sadly I doubt that any time in the near future will he be in line for the WHC. I agree the only way he could win is if he were to get injured and comeback and win from Edge. But thats unlikey imo. In the meantime Im enjoying watching him with MVP. Maybe in a year or so we will see if hes still getting the push.

This would be the best thing to do with Matt HArdy but his reign should be like Edge's first reign just for a couple of months and then Edge wins it back and it stays off of hardy for a while but now that hes a former World Champion he can have high profile feuds with main eventers .
