And thanks to Vince Russo booking. WEll, the fact that they steal every midcarder of the WWE they can also helps, but is mainly because of Russo.

Hell, he is even booking the same matches, compare this match to the Battle Royal meant to happen at Turning Point, similar uh?

Match #8: Jeff Jarrett vs. Booker T. in a San Francisco 49'ers Match for the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Title
  • There are poles at each turnbuckle, each of which holding up a box over ten feet in the air.
  • One of thoses boxes has the world title.
  • Bill: It would be funny if one box had a piñata.
  • Jarrett enters first.
  • From last week, Jeff Jarrett becomes by favorite wrestler that week for bashing Beetlejuice with his guitar.
  • Booker comes out next.
  • Booker takes off his shirt and hands it to an old lady.
  • Jarrett attacks Booker outside the ring, signaling the bell.
  • Jarrett jabs Booker with a chair.
  • Back inside, Booker reverses a whip to the corner, but Jarrett gets in a clothesline afterward.
  • Jarrett grabs a box, kicks it open and finds...
  • A blow-up doll. What'd you expect from Russo booking?
    2000095m002.jpg
  • Booker whips Jarrett into a back elbow.
  • Booker with a side slam.
  • Booker grabs a second box, opens it and finds...
  • A picture of Scott Hall.

  • Jarrett charges but Booker nails him with the framed picture.
  • Jarrett rolls outside next to the blow up doll.
  • Booker goes for the third box, but Jarrett cuts him off.
  • Jarrett dumps Booker and goes outside.
  • Jarrett nails Booker with an empty box.
  • Jarrett slams Booker on the rail.
  • Jarrett breaks a box over Booker's head.
  • Jarrett sends Booker into the announcer's booth.
  • Jarrett stomps away as Madden screams for Jarrett to go for the box.
  • Jarrett tries a piledriver but Booker counters with his own.
  • And the table doesn't break. Ouch.
  • Booker enters the ring as Jarrett takes a swig of some water laying at ringside.
  • Booker goes for a box and finds the Coal Miners Glove from the "Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal" match from 1992.
    2000095m004.jpg
  • Jarrett trips Booker and crotches him on the ringpost, though.
  • Jarrett steals the glove from Booker.
  • Jarrett signals for Booker to get up, hits the ropes and nails his opponent in the chest.
  • Jarrett celebrates instead of going for the win.
  • Another shot to the midsection.
  • Jarrett grabs a used box, goes to the middle rope and breaks it over Booker's head.
  • Jarrett climbs up for the last box, but Booker cuts him off.
  • Booker whips Jarrett, who avoids a dropkick by hanging on the ropes.
  • Jarrett loads up the glove for another punch to the face.
  • Both men are down and Mark Johnson counts to ten.
  • Jarrett picks Booker up at eight.
  • Jarrett with a whip and a sleeperhold after missing two clotheslines.
  • Crowd chants for Booker T during the resthold, which Madden says is for Jarrett.
  • Johnson raises the arm three times to usual results.
  • Booker makes the comeback and does his own sleeperhold.
  • But, since Booker is a face, he suffers a backdrop suplex.
  • Johnson counts again, with Jarrett getting up at eight.
  • Jarrett loads up the glove and goes to the corner with the box.
  • Hey, just open the box! Duh!
  • Booker blocks the top rope punch with a urinage.
  • Booker goes for the box but Jarrett grabs his leg.
  • Punches by Jarrett.
  • Booker blocks The Stroke, gets the axe kick and Harlem Sidekick.
  • Through this, Schiavone did the "Spinerooni!" chant, with Madden telling him to shut up. Heh.
  • Jarrett counters Booker's attempt to win with a punch to the nuts.
  • Booker tries a sidekick but gets crotched on the ropes.

Ok, since Im too lazy too take this to the WWE/TNA thread, Ill just post this here.

Name one thing that WWE is doing better than TNA right now, not from the "internet junkie" standpoint, if you know what I mean.

Ok, here are some points WWE is doing better than TNA, obviously not including the obvious, important but not vital aspects: production, lighting, locations, merchandise, pyro setting.

1) Better Main Events: and I am not talking about the names, I am talking about the match itself. TNA seems to have a tag team main event for the title on every PPV, and the only one on one main event for their title has a run-in. WWE knows how to give a proper one on one match, and yes, there are DQs, but for every HBK vs Randy Orton ending in DQ there is a Batista vs Taker with a clean finish.

2) Long pushes: Yeah, WWE might now always give a push to a midcarder, but when they do, it is a good, permanent push. See MVP, he jobbed to Kane, then got push and see where he is now. John Morrison, was promised a push if separated from Melina, now he is a former ECW World Champion(at leasr better than teaming with Kenny). TNA does push wrestlers, but they are short pushes, only to be fed to the real, never changing main eventers. Kaz got a good push, to then be fed to Kurt Angle and there goes his character. Samoa Joe, love him or hate him was the most over face in the company, got pushed as hell by TNA, well, until Angle ended that and not only stopped his pushed, he bury him. There are more, Jay Lethal winning to Angle with no fallout, LAX winning in a PPV and then being left out of any action. Uhmmm, I kind of saw a common denominator in all those depushes.

3) PPV matchups: I only have to say, does TNA needs to have all those tag team matches on every card. It wouldnt kill them to leave someone out of the card.

4) Booking: Yes, booking. TNA doesnt have a clue on fallouts or follow-ups. They book by the moment(well, is Vince Russo what did we expected), one moment you see certain wrestler feuding someone, and without an explanation, the feud suddenly ends with no reason and we start a new one with not even a mention of the previous one. Not to mention the unexplain things that happen in TNA(why the fuck do Christian Cage prefers fighting Booker T and not confront Angle for stealing his Coalition, or why did he stole the coalition in the first place)

5)High Spot Management: You just knew I had to include this. Damn, I am not asking to have only a rest hold match, but you can fucking take a high impact move, get up, and hit another impact move, then lose the match for a DDT. It makes no sense.

Those are some things I could think off, now, if you want me to include the internet junkie point of view, there are a lot more.

Ugggh, when are you going to get it right?

What?

_______________

You know, I really want to stop taliking about all of this and just move on, but its threads like these that really piss me off. I mean you people get on me for backing up TNA, but its as if you are antaginising it and wanting me to do that so you can just call me a sheep. You all tell me to stop, but when you make these type of threads, what do you expect?
