On October 25, 2011, Paul Heyman purchased Ohio Valley Wrestling from Danny Davis. For over thirteen years, OVW has provided the Louisville and surrounding areas with professional wrestling, and had a development deal with WWE from 00-09. After their deal with WWE ended, OVW went down hill. It is still going but it isn't half as good as is it was when OVW was a development territory for WWE. OVW has produced huge stars in the wrestling business including, John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, D'Angelo Dinero, Tara, Mickie James, and more! Paul Heyman has bought OVW from previous Owner, Danny Davis. He is hoping to bring it back to life without the help of WWE and is looking to built it into a major company in professional wrestling.

OVW TV: Episode 637

ovw.jpg

The show opens inside the Davis Arena in Louisville, Kentucky, with Paul Heyman standing in the ring, with a microphone, read to speak.

Paul Heyman: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to what begins to rebirth of Ohio Valley Wrestling!

The four-hundred-some fans begin to cheer.

Paul Heyman: I am sick and tired of what OVW has become. Tonight will kick off many changes of what is to come in the new OVW. Now, I have to admit the roster looks weak as hell these days. We got some guys with zero talent, and we got other guys who have talent but have ridiculous names or use the same name as a famous person. So I am ready to clean up the roster. How can you do it Paul? You might ask. Well I have thought of an idea where I bring in new comers/alumni, and if a new comer or alumni defeats a member on the existing roster, the wrestler who got defeated will lose their spot on the roster and the new comer or alumni will fill their spot on the roster. Some of these alumni and new comers include, The Boogeyman, Chris Masters, DH Smith, JBL, Joey Mercury, Shelton Benjamin, The Road Dog BG James and Mr. ass Kip James, and those are just a few. Also, I want to make another swift decision to kick things off. Nick Dinsmore, could you please come out here?

Nick Dinsmore walks through the curtain and enters the ring. Ron Hed hands him a microphone.

Paul Heyman: Nick, I am sorry to inform you but I am relieving you of your duties as Head trainer.

All of the fans in the Davis Arena begin to boo.

Paul Heyman: I mean Nick, you weren't doing a good job at all. Look at the talent you have trained. With the exception of a few, they are pretty shitty!

Nick Dinsmore: Since OVW's begining, I have busted my ass off for this company and you want to come in here and disrespect me like this? I don't care if your Paul Heyman or Vince McMahon, I am not going to stand here and take it!

Paul Heyman: Calm down, Nick. Just calm it down for a second. I am replacing you as head trainer but I still would love for you to stay in OVW and compete on the roster. The man taking your position as head trainer is none other than Fit Finlay! Now since I have already got you fired up, why don't we kick things off with you taking on Cliff Compton!

Recap of Match 1: Nick Dinsmore vs. Cliff Compton

Once Cliff Compton enters the match begins, it starts off slow with some basic grappling. Compton gets the upper hand and throws some strikes. After a few minutes, Compton positions Dinsmore on the top turnbuckle and goes for a superplex but Nick fights out of it and shoves Cliff Compton off the top rope. Compton slams on the mat and once he gets up, Nick Dinsmore leaps off with a flying cross body. He goes for the pin but Compton kicks out at two. After getting the upperhand for a bit, Nick goes for a DDT but Compton reverses it into a neckbreaker. Cliff Compton assists him to his feet and goes for a side suplex but Dinsmore flips out of it and goes for a Bridging German Suplex! He hits it!

Dean Hill: Compton is finished!

One...

Two...

Right before the referee's hand comes down for three, the referee is drung out of the ring by none other than Compton's former valet, Cherry!

Kenny Bolin: It's Cherry! We haven't seen her in OVW for four years!

Former Tag Team Partner of Cliff Compton: Deuce Shade, comes from the crowd and enters the ring.

Dean Hill: Now it's Compton's former tag partner, Deuce Shade! We haven't seen him in OVW for four years either! But what they are doing here is uncalled for.

Deuce Shade hits Nick Dinsmore with a led pipe, and exits the ring. Cherry tosses the referee back inside the ring, where Cliff Compton covers Dinsmore and gets the three count to pick up the win!

Ron Hed: Here is your winner, Cliff Compton!

Winner in nine minutes, Cliff Compton.

Cliff Compton exits the ring with Deuce Shade and Cherry, while Nick Dinsmore is assisted to the back.

We go to the back where we see Paul Heyman in his office. He has his cell phone up to his right ear as he looks to be in a deep conversation.

Paul Heyman: I would love for you to come to OVW and help out around here, Mick. I mean you are the hardcore icon.

Fans are going nuts in the arena as they realize who is on the phone with Paul Heyman.

Alex Silva walks inside Paul Heyman's office without even knocking.

Paul Heyman: Sorry Mick, I have to go. Some young punk just came into my office without knocking.

Heyman hangs up the phone in anger.

Paul Heyman: May I help you?

ALex Silva: I was walking down the hall and I realized you were on the phone. I wasn't meaning to eavesdrop or anything but I could tell you were talking to none other than Mick Foley. Why would you want to bring that washed up, piece of trash, to OVW?

Paul Heyman: I'm going to supply you with a bit of advice. First off, never listen to my phone calls if they don't involve you. Secondly, never walk in my office without knocking. Third, don't tell me how to do my job! Now since you have done those three things and pissed me off, you will be in a match, fighting for your career, here tonight. It was originally set to be Elvis Pridemore vs. Paredyse but now it will be a triple threat, adding you into the mix. The winner keeps his job, while the two losers head to the back of the unemployment line.

Alex Silva storms off in disgust, to go get ready for his match. Heyman looks into the camera.

Paul Heyman: Oh and just to let everyone know, in tonight's main event, Asher Knight will be putting his spot on the line as well, when he faces... Bobby Lashley!

We head back down to the ring where the second match of the night is about to take place.

Recap of Match 2: Benjamin Bray vs. Caylen Croft

Dean Hill: It's great to see Caylen Croft back inside an OVW ring. But remember, since Croft is not on the roster, if he wins, Ben Bray is fired and Croft will take his spot on the roster.

Kenny Bolin: Croft would be a great addition to the OVW Roster.

Dean Hill: Yes he would but if he gets a spot, that means we lose Benjamin Bray.

Croft received a warm welcoming back to the Davis Arena by the fans. Bray and Croft locked up to kick off the match. Bray brought Croft down to the mat and they wrestled around for a bit. Bray worked most the offense for the first few minutes.

Kenny Bolin: I think Caylen Croft is protraying a bit of ring rust.

Finally, Croft gets in some offense and backs Bray into the corner. He connects with a belly-to-belly german suplex, and sends Bray across the ring. Fans are really getting behind Caylin Croft now as he goes for the cover. Benjamin Bray kicks out at two. Caylen Croft's attitude changes half way through the match and he goes full force at Benjamin Bray. He clotheslines Bray and turns him inside out! Croft picks up Bray and connects with a Fireman's Carry Double-knee Gutbuster! Croft pins him and picks up the win!

Dean Hill: Caylen Croft wins, which means Bray loses his spot on the roster and Croft is now apart of OVW once again.

Winner in 11 minutes: Caylen Croft

After the match, Bray gets to his feet and offers a handshake to Caylen Croft. Caylen looks at him and smacks him in the face!

Dean Hill: What was that for?

Croft throws his knee at Bray's gut and connects with a DDT. Croft picks up Bray and throws him out of the ring. The fans boo as he throws Benjamin Bray into the guard rail. Croft bashes Bray's skull into the guard rail, repeatedly.

Kenny Bolin: I have never seen Caylen Croft like this before.

Croft backs up and spheres Benjamin Bray through the guard rail!

Dean Hill: Oh my God!

Kenny Bolin: I don't know what has gotten into Croft, but I like it!

Croft looks under the ring and grabs a steel chair. He stands over top Benjamin Bray and beats him with the steel chair! Croft continues to beat Bray in with the chair, and Bray is busted open. Security runs out to ringside and Croft threatens to hit security with the chair. He throws down the chair and demands a microphone as he enters the ring.

Caylen Croft: Shut up! I am tired of being the goofy, lovable, guy. It is time for a change. I don't want my career in WWE to take place again, here in OVW. I'm sick and fuckin tired of being at the bottom of the fuckin food chain! That's not who I am! Caylen Croft is not who I am. I am not kissing anyone's ass in OVW and I'm not playing some pathetic, googy, couch potatoe of a character. It's time for me to be taken serious, dammit! In OVW, nobody will write lines for me. I'm unscripted and I will say what I want, when I want to say it. And whoever calls me Caylen Croft, will get their shit fucked up!

Dean Hill: He isn't allowed to say all of this profanity. This is a family program.

Caylen Croft: My real name is Chris Pavone, and that's exactly what everyone will call me from now on, got it!?! You can love me or you can hate me, but I really don't give a damn because from now on, it's all about Chris Pavone!

Pavone slams the microphone down and exits the arena.

Kenny Bolin: I love the new attitude of Chris Pavone!

Dean Hill: None of that was needed. Benjamin Bray is hurt and this is meant to be a family show.

Paramedics rush out to assist Benjamin Bray to the back.

Recap of Match 3: Fat and Furious (Jack Black and Trailer Park Trash) vs. The Next Generation Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart and David Hart Smith)

Once all four men enter, DH Smith and Jack Black start things off.

Dean Hill: From my understand, if Fat and Furious loses, both men are forced to leave OVW and the Harts will take their place.

Smith and Black slug it out for the first two minutes before Smith tags in Teddy. Black beats down Hart but DH Smith comes in and they double team Black. Trailer Park Trash runs in but DH Smith clotheslines him out of the ring. Teddy Hart leaps off the top rope with a shooting star press on Black and pins him for the win!

Winners in five minutes: Next Generation Hart Foundation

Teddy Hart and DH Smith celebrate in the ring, before leaving with both men earning a roster spot.

We go to the back where Nick Dinsmore is shown, sitting in the lockeroom, recovering from his match, earlier in the night. Dave "Fit" Finlay walks in the lockeroom.

Nick Dinsmore: Hey look, it's the irishman that stole my job as Head Trainer.

Dave Finaly: I like your humor, Nick. But you should have known the day was coming. You're a washed up talent who never made it outside of this arena. Why should you be qualified to train, Eugene?

Finlay laughs after the Eugene remark and walks out.

Recap of Match 4: Alex Silva vs. Paredyse vs. Elvis Pridemore

The match didn't last but two minutes. Silva stood on the outside while Pridemore and Paredyse fought. Pridemore had Paredyse beat but Silva ran in, attacked Pridemore and covered Paredyse.

Silva got the win in about 1:50, forcing Pridemore and Paredyse to leave OVW.

Recap of the Main Event: Bobby Lashley vs. Asher Knight

Lashley and Knight had a very good technical match that went almost 15 minutes. It started off with a test of strength that Lashley won. Lashley worked a few offensive manuavers in but Knight regained his composure and things changed. It was back and forth most of the contest with Knight even having the upper hand through the middle part of the match up. THe match ended with Asher Knight diving off the top rope and Lashley catching him in a sphere! The entire Davis Arena were on their feet after this match.

Winner in 12 minutes: Bobby Lashley

Before the show comes to a close, we go to the back where Paul Heyman is shown.

Paul Heyman: Next week on OVW TV, their will be a 15 man over the top rope main event battle royal, with the winner facing Jason Wayne for the OVW Title at All or Nothing in three weeks.

-------------------------------------------------------

As I have said previously, the matches on OVW TV will be short recaps. That way I can put more time in matches at bigger events.
