^^^ I hear what ya saying re: JoMo and I too woulda liked to see them build him as slow as poss (as there is still tonnes of room for improvement away from his physical game), but I guess it's just reassuring that they still have ME intentions for him at this juncture (what with his 2 previously halted pushes).
Thoroughly enjoyable PPV...
IC match wasn't quite as good as I hoped (given the excellent Kofi/Swagger & Kofi/Ziggler matches of late)... Stinky ending didn't help either.... Declaring it a no contest and Ziggler retaining by default would have been infinitely better (How it panned out just opens the doors for more shitty finishes to ladder & TLC matche later down the line.)
JoMo/Sheamus was sweet - MOTN... As others have said, just a really good no fuss fued.
Cena/Barret.... Was better than I had any right to expect it be given the shitty 'chair match' stip and how lame it panned out last yeah between Taker & Batista, but the chair stip tied nicely into the storyline and the chair spots worked well within the context of the match. Just preying that Wade doesn't slowly trickle back down the card now the end of Nexus is on the horizon.
Nice finish for the Miz/Orton match. Match seemed a little short and lacking something for a world title match, but maybe that's cos I'm not a fan of tables matches when the stakes are that high.
Divas... Meh... Curious as to whether the table shoulda broken first time around for the finnish tho'. Beth v Natalia @ Mania this year, much?
WHC TLC... Well thank god that's all over! Where do i start? ...Wasn't impressed that they made it a four-way having suffered weeks of the shitty Edge/Bearer stuff(*), only for said "highly personal" fued to be watered down with two other guys adding their own little side-show by tacking on their own fued for what should have been a blow-off match. (*Which ironically, started off following Edge's shortlived war on stupidity which was a welcome change in direction for the failed face-Edge; next thing ya know he's in the stupidest storyline in the company at that time!). Match was cool enough, just woulda prefered to see Kane & Edge one on one so my sitting through the crap storyline would, if nothing else, have been worth the perceverence. I guess there'll be a Kane/Edge rematch, complete with shonky finish, on this weeks SD in order to free Edge up for a new challenger at the Rumble.
