Official Brock Lesnar Discussion Thread

Love him or hate him. All discussion of Brock can be done in here. Weather it be news or anything related post and discuss in here.

As for me Lesnar is great and all but I just don't see him becoming the next Couture, Liddell, or Shamrock. That's just my opinion though.

I don't understand why Brock Lesnar and Kimbo Slice get the most attention. They are nowhere near the greatest fighters in the world, but they get discussed way more than Liddell or Forrest or anyone along those lines...maybe because this is on a wrestling forum? lol

I am going to see if I can merge some post from previous Lesnar threads.

That's probably the reason their discussed so much. Also probably the reason it starts to annoy fans like you and me that know there's much more then just Lesnar when it comes to MMA.

Yea I think Kimbo and Lesnar are the most discussed because, in Lesnar's case, it's a wrestling forum, and in both men's cases they aren't pure fighters. Wrestling fans don't really understand MMA fighting, so they knab onto the fighters easier to understand like one dimensional Kimbo and WWE Champ Lesnar.

Actually, if Lesnar will continue his career as a MMA fighter; I can see him winning the UFC title. Just wait for him two years atmost and he will be a force to fear.

His size and weight is just overwhelming and its a huge advantage for Lesnar.

If you compare Lesnar with Kimbo, Kimbo is just 240lbs. But lesnar is 295lbs (routine actual weight). Now, if Kimbo has the punching power, well guess what?...Lesnar is still stronger than Kimbo in this.

Lesnar is a pure wrestler, knows how to take his opponents down easily. Now lesnar just needs more fights and experience and he will dominate Kimbo easily.

Im not biased in what im trying to deliever here, its just what I saw and analyzed both fighters each one on his own.

The only thing both are the same at is just that both are aggressive and will always bring pressure and be offensive. Other than that, everything else is for Lesnar's bank.

I still won't forget on UFC All Access for UFC81, they show Frank Mir training his ass off then they cut to Lesnar who is sitting in a bar stuffing his face with a double cheeseburger. He said he has hard times keeping the weight on because he sweats so much.

He's good. But no where near the best he's got to get some more fights under his belt before he's even close.

I want to know what Lesnar would do if anyone ever got him on his back, that would be something to see.

^ Well if someone got him on his back, the guy that took Lesnar down would be THE MAN and would have to be bigger then Lesnar which is scary. I would assume Lesnar would punch his way out of it lol. But yes, it would be great to see!

I don't know. Lesnar has his weaknesses just like every other fighter. Weather or not people chose to acknowledge the weaknesses is another thing.

Well we are quickly approaching UFC 91: Couture vs. Lesnar. Has anyone have anymore thoughts on our good friend Brock Lesnar?

Im pretty sure that Brock will win this one. Brock is gaining confidence after every fight he gets. Coutoure will lose this match, thats how im predicting it.

I'm pretty sure I'm one of only few people putting money on Couture. But I'm sticking with it and nothings going to change my mind.
