Alright, last month Affliction Clothing Company sponsored one of the biggest fight cards in MMA history headlined by Fedor vs. Tim Sylvia. Well, they are goin at it again as they bring Affliction: Day of Reckoning to PPV this October, this time headlined by...

Affliction.jpg

Let's see if they can outdo themselves this time around. Here were the results of Affliction: Banned:

Fedor Emilianenko def. Tim Sylvia
Andrei Arlovski def. Ben Rothwell
Josh Barnett def. Pedro Rizzo
Matt Hominich def. Savant Young
Matt Lindland def. Fabio Negao
Renato Sobral def. Mike Whitehead

It was a super stacked card, however I watched the preliminary fight preshow on FSN and I have to admit, it was putting me to sleep, that's just me.

I'm impressed with the fighters they've been able to bring in. I think it's a little tacky for a clothing line to have a promotion. Just imagine, Cheetos presents "A Thin Line Between Powder and Cheese".

Affliction has very cool looking shirts at the most outrageous prices on Planet Earth.

I watched the Fedor/Silvia fight on YouTube the other day and to be perfectly honest it was a shutout. Fedor was brutal, and this was the first time I have seen him fight. I just hope that one day he comes to the UFC, a match with Brock lesnar could make some serious money.

UFC failed to sign Fedor, that's what pissed Couture off and made him quit. Affliction is the most expensive crap on the face of the earth, but it's cool. I got some of Couture's clothing line, it's some pretty nice stuff. Bought it from Finish Line at half off. Anyways, they have some good fighters, they seem to use the same guys each show though because Arlovski and Barnett fought at the last one which is pretty good exposure as a fighter. In UFC there's like 6 shows between fights.
