Octavia Spencer is attached to co-star with Leslie Mann in the DreamWorks comedy “Las Madres.â€￾

Scott Stuber and Dylan Clarke are producing for Bluegrass Films.

Story follows three unemployed friends who decide their only chance at economic opportunity in today’s climate is to go after a criminal with a reward for his capture.

Story is based on an original pitch and script by Lona Williams, which Pam Brady is currently rewriting.

Spencer is staying busy on the big and little screen, as her pilot “Red Band Societyâ€￾ was just picked up by Fox. She also has two films bowing this summer, the sci-fi pic “Snow Piercerâ€￾ alongside Chris Evans and the James Brown biopic “Get on Up.â€￾

She is repped by WME and attorney Karl Austin.

I have no clue what this movie is about but i like Mann. Hope it does well.

Really? Because I can't stand her.

Yeah it depends on the movie that she is in. Most roles I can tolerate her it's that other one from Bridesmaids that I can't stand. Melissa Mccarthy

I think Leslie Mann is decent as a supporting character, but I really don't think she should be in lead roles but Judd kept giving her more and more screen time and now she is.

The movie itself sounds pretty typical.

McCarthey's the fucking anti-christ of comedy movies these days. Which is a shame because she's so nice in The Gilmore Girls.

Mann hasn't got the overhyped back catalogue McCarthy has but her track record is barely any better. I'm sure she wouldn't get 90% of her work if it wasn't for her husband.
