On an amazing episode of NXT UK, Mark Coffey challenges Noam Dar for the NXT UK Heritage Cup, Oliver Carter battles Teoman in a slugfest, and Amale tangles with Stevie Turner.
By hook or by crook, The Scottish Supernova has enjoyed an incredible reign with the Heritage Cup, defeating Tyler Bate to win the trophy in October and subsequently turning back challenges from established competitors such as Sam Gradwell, A-Kid and both Coffey Brothers, albeit often in controversial fashion and with some assistance from Sha Samuels.
Following his insinuation to Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala that he may soon retire as NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion, Dar is set for at least one more grueling title defense when he matches wits and fists with Mark Coffey.
Though all three members of Gallus have recently been keeping their distance from one another (Joe Coffey has returned home and hasn’t been seen in some time, Mark Coffey has notched some wins in the singles ranks, and Wolfgang is enjoying success while teaming with Damon Kemp), a championship victory has proven elusive for quite some time.
Mark, however, has a chance to right that wrong after coming up short in his bid to win the NXT UK Heritage Cup thanks to miscommunication between himself and his brother when he challenged Dar in March.
Will Dar once again maintain his grasp on the trophy, or will Mark Coffey win his first singles title?
Plus, after he and Ashton Smith had to relinquish the NXT UK Tag Team Championship due to a knee injury to Smith, Carter will embark on his mission to make a name for himself in singles competition when he collides with the dangerous Teoman, who seems certain to be backed by the equally menacing Rohan Raja and Charlie Dempsey.
And after being at odds with Xia Brookside and Eliza Alexander for weeks and often succumbing to the numbers game, Amale attempts to bounce back when she takes on the outspoken Stevie Turner.
