WWE announced that Hideo Itami was the winner of the Wrestlemania Axxess NXT tournament and will be entered into the ATGMBR. Itami beat his friend and tag team partner Finn Balor in the finals of the tournement after beating Adrian Neville in the semi finals.

Very fucking interesting.. Itami was THE LAST person out of Neville, Zayn, T-Breezy, Balor, Corbin and company that I thought was going to get it..I get what they're doing though.. smart move getting him some exposure like that... ppl know Zayn & Neville's name already..I'm interested to see what they do with Hideo in the BR itself.

It wouldn't surprise me, ya know... It's kinda funny how nowadays the CM Punk chant is used to piss people off. lol

Pretty cool how we mostly thought it would be someone like Neville and they go ahead and give us the Itami surprise. IMO, it will help him greatly and a GTS would be really cool to see - WM31 crowd should be a lot of marks who have seen NXT and are familiar with NXT. But I'd say he has little chance of winning it, although then again this is a match where I don't really know who will actually win - Axel would be the greatest thing of all time to see, Mizdow throwing Miz over could be cool, Ryback is hungry, Rowan deserves a moment after being buried, I really want to see Zack Ryder get pushed again and Goldust deserves to win it too.

I'd be surprised if anyone other than Ryback or Sheamus ended up winning that thing, Itami or Mizdow winning would be swell, but I doubt it.

You know, as much as I have disliked Axel and saw this newest gimmick as "meh" - it's really starting to grow on me. Especially when he did it in front of Hogan lol. I would probably mark out quite a bit if he won. I doubt he will, but still......
