Cameron Grimes has been tabbed for the WWE main roster, according to Dave Meltzer.
During a review of Tuesday's WWE NXT on Wednesday's Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said he was told Grimes will be called up after his current feud with Joe Gacy wraps up.
Grimes lost to Gacy on Tuesday's show which appeared to indicate that time might be now. It's unknown which brand he will head to or the timeframe for that final move.
He recently made his main roster debut, defeating Akira Tozawa on an October episode of WWE Main Event.
The 29-year-old has been under contract since 2019 after a run in Impact Wrestling and indies like PWG. He's a former three-time Impact X-Division Champion and Impact Tag Team Champion.
In his three years in WWE NXT, Grimes held the North American title once and also held the briefly revived Million Dollar title during a feud with LA Knight that involved Ted DiBiase.
