There has been some talk on other boards that NWA Charlotte should be voted or elected as the indy's top promotion for 2009. Being a big indy fan, as well as a fan of NWA Charlotte, I say vote yes!
For several reasons.
They brought back wrestling to Charlotte, NC, home of Jim Crockett promotions and a big home to NWA superstars. They also presented a great professional face with a real set, lights, audio, the big screen, a real dressing room, and a scripted, produced show.
Even though this indy has seen unprecedented problems this year, they have been the closest thing to the big Feds as I have seen in indy land.
They are on a summer break for june and july. but when they come back, they should be elected as the country's top indy.
