Notification when quoted.

With so much discussion going on here, your always going to be quoted for what you post. It'd be nice to get a notification when you get quoted.

Part of the notification plugin that @[Anonymous] is sort of in the middle of creating. It's a big plugin though.

Yeah. You can just tag the person you're quoting, especially if it's a discussion/debate.

Nah, I don't know about you guys but receiving a PM, reading the pm, clicking the post where you're tagged and viewing it is so much effort. Tagging is for special occasions or direct questions or you want them to read something.

There's lots of quotes on here that result in replies with "Liked", "Repped", "This." etc. However, a small notification which doesn't involve having to open a PM when quoted would be nice, that's what the notification system would be like. So much more user-friendly.

You (Anonymous) should make that small notification work with tagging or even like/rep feature also.

That's already been planned I think. He's the best guy to ask of course but I'm sure he said to me he would.

But as I said, big plugin.

The only tedious problem I have is finding a way to make all of these connections simple to implement, without having to write separate code for everything.

But I've not really been working on the notifications plugin a lot anyway, maybe sometime soon.
