This event will benefit The Young Warriors of North Carolina Foundation.*This foundation was founded by Al Simmons to help the less fortunate children in Chatham County.
Simmons, a long time advocate of MMA in North Carolina said,
“We are just looking to give back and help teach these kids martial arts.*We have received help on the local and state levels, but we would like to receive federal help as well.*So we are putting on events like this to make people aware of what we are doing.*Chatham County is a great place, and we just want to make sure the youth have exposure to positive activities.â€
There are other local groups that benefit as well such as: The “Chatham Together†mentor group, and the local Boy Scouts Troop 911.
If you would like to donate to this foundation, and ticket information*you can contact Al Simmons at ALSPAWNSIMMONS@aol.com or (919) 600-0738.
