I can see the plan already. We get a BS finish to the Last Man Standing Match, they'll announce HHH v Orton in a HIAC for DA BASH and it'll be built up in the next week.

By the way, Mike... You need to learn to accept some criticism about the WWE product. It seems you always jump at the chance to defend the company. I'm starting to think that Vince is paying you or something :shifty:

No, you should know as well as anyone i've hated WWE as of late. The month or so that I did Raw reviews, I was as hard on WWE as ever. Even as recently as two days ago, I was hating the majority of things WWE did/was doing. There's still alot of flaws as well, in fact, too many to even start to name. But no matter which company.. WWE, TNA, ROH, whatever, it's just stupid when people jump all over an angle before it gets going. If it sucks, I'll be complaining about it faster than 80% of the people on this forum. But how anyone can bitch about it already, when all we've seen is one segment about it, is laughable.

Examples of some of my latest posts critisizing WWE:

But the match quality was awful. Just awful. We only got one match over 5 minutes long. And even that was only 6 minutes. Inexcusable. Improvement over last week, but not where it should be yet. It had more bright spots than last week though.

Overall, a sort of disappointing Raw. One of the better Raw's match-wise in a while, but I wasn't impressed with the promos. The only talking promos were done from midcard and lowcard guys. Only two promos/segments involved main eventers. One was good (opener) one was bad (Cena/Show)
I guess you can take the match quality as a positive, but the promos were pretty disappointing. So was the storyline build. Batista's hints at a heel turn disappoint me. The whole accidental thing is lame, with all the mistakes he keeps making. And, well, cena just looked stupid.
Mediocre Raw. Can't wait for Smackdown!

Too bad that would never happen. I'm actually nto too enthused that a normal Raw has no commercials. The matches are usually better off not seen anyway.

No need to pretend they aren't. If you think this is close to how it was, even 4 years ago, you're kidding yourself. There's no language, and pretty much no graphic violence or blood (On PPV there is, but not the weekly shows), no sexuality, and only a few 'mature storylines'.
I was fine with it for a while, but I can't lie, it's getting lame now. I dont want swearing, violence, and sex just for the sake of it, but at a time with so much of the same old shit, and alot of boring crap, as well as alot of top stars out, they need something to spice things up, and I think they need a bit more edge back. Again, while I like the swearing, violence, blood, bikini contests, etc, I can't stress enough that I'm not one that wants it just for the hell of it. I realise WWE goes in cycles. But right now, the PG-WWE is wearing a little thin, and there's not much good in WWE as of now. A change back to soem edgier content would be appreciated.

Or, this whole thread, which is basically a WWE bash fest:

^ the angle IS going, the match is announced already and I'm criticizing WWE for booking it in the first place. I don't see the harm in that

-I wasn't talking to you, lol
-I'm talking about the Trump angle, not the fucking Triple H/Orton shit

Triple H vs. Randy Orton LMS III is bad booking enough, but to have it on free TV is just plain stupid. They have had this match 3 different times, you should never fight the same guy for the same belt in the same stipulation match more than once let alone twice. Orton and HHH are on a collision course for the Bash, that's obvious. After the LMS match has a bogus finish Trump will announce a Hell in a Cell match for the Bash. I knew that they couldn't drag HHH vs. Orton HIAC at Summerslam, that would be impossible.

BTW, I was not going to order the Bash, this PPV looks terrible, just the name alone.

I stopped caring about HHH vs. Randy Orton after Wrestlemania 25. They had everything perfect. The historied backstory, the build up, and then there was THE MATCH. That match killed it all. No different from Big Show ruining Cena vs. Edge. But at least Cena and Edge made up for it with an excellent match at Backlash. HHH, and RKO didn't. Now I feel like everything is else is unnecessary forced bullshit. HHH/RKO had it, but they blew it. IDGAF about their matches anymore.

I'm still ordering The Bash regardless. I wanna see Jeff vs. Punk, and the inevitable Cena vs. Miz.

Edit: The Great American Bash also has a nice theme song too.

So WWE booking Last Man Standing III is a bad idea because they are wasting it on TV, as opposed to having an equally boring LMS at the Bash? Either way its craptacular, so I'm glad they are getting it out of the way on free TV first.

1) LMS makes sense, considering they are 1-1 on that particular stipulation match.

2) While I see what you're coming from, it's not like, at this point, they have to really build HHH vs Orton, so, if you are coming from "booking a match between the two at Raw right before The Bash will screw the build up", is dumb, because the build up is already there.

3) Call me crazy, but when talking about HHH vs Orton, you should only bash the ending of the match, because imo, the rest of it was more than good.

Well shit or not i'm ordering it. I order all of them anyway, Just like i watch Raw/SD even after weeks/Months of shit i still watch it every week. Just coz it looks shit on paper doesn't mean that it will be shit on the night. Granted Ive ordered a lot of shite PPV'S over the years and a lot aren't worth the money. But Ive also ordered a lot that looked shit but turned out to be wicked. I dont really wanna see HHH/Orton A G A I N if I'm honest. I just wish that this feud would end. But I'm hoping it's a cage match and I'm hoping that they put on there best match that they have ever had together(long shot i know but you never know lol =]). Plus Punk/Hardy IMO will be a wicked match. I dont really care whats on the card as long as there is a couple of good matches IL keep buying them.

Nup WM 25 encounter was **, Pby one of the worst WWE C'ship Matches in a while at Mania.

HHH vs Orton has only hit great once, That was at No Mercy 2007 in a LMS.

But with a LMS match on TV i smell Legacy interference all over it. Who knows maybe Flair will come out to help HHH.

HHH/Orton has pby been on WWE TV/PPV more times than Mysterio Vs Chavo, Jeff hardy Vs Edge, John Cena vs edge, MVP Vs matt Hardy in the Past 5 years.

I use to remember Vince In the late 90's would never book The Main event match of a PPV on the TV brand show before it. (that what WCW use to do alot of). vince would rather book Brawls, promo's or run in cheap shots in a way of bringing people in to order PPV's.

The Match itself on Raw next week can be good, but it isn't good business by WWE. It has me really question whether this match is going be pretty much a 3 on 1 just to weaken HHH and his odds on winning Belt. In which could make HHH Vs orton at NOC.
