Although we don't know the outcome of the storyline, you could point out that there's another gap in the angle that will either be filled in a unrealistic way or it will end up that nobody killed Vince.
If somebody killed Vince and there are federal investigators involved, when the culprit comes out he'll go to jail. You don't commit a murder and end up wrestling Shane McMahon on PPV for example.
So this leaves two scenarios. Vince committed suicide or he hoaxed his own death and will be back on TV shortly. The latter probably being the way it goes.
Of course all this seemed quite obvious from the get go. There is no way in hell that Vince would never appear on TV again.
