No Rock for Wrestle Mania

"The earliest plan for WrestleMania 32 was The Rock versus Triple H in the show closing main event.

However, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that plans for Rock against Triple H had to be scrapped. Rock is due to be filming next spring and there was an issue with the timing and insurance. As a result, WWE’s big idea fell through."

If this is true, which it may be from the looks of it, is anyone really going to be disappointed?? I mean reeeeeaaallly? Sure he is entertaining but a break from him would be a good thing.

I could care less. The Rock isn't even half as good as he was at his peak. His promos are weak. I prefer when Rock came out all cool, calm, and collected with his 800 dollar shirts and sunglasses.

Was always to be expected since Rock has a non wrestling career.

But still a bit weird since he has been involved with every wrestlemania since 27 in some form or another. Be it in ring or just with the microphone.

I can see him appearing in a non-wrestling role. But, him actually wrestling? Nope.

Mixed feelings.

Good because it means WWE will have to put more effort into creating a memorable card if they know they can't just rely on the star power of The Rock to drum up a lot of interest for them. But bad because The Rock is The Rock and thus creates that big match and big fight feel like few people in history can no matter what program he's in.

If they plan on this being the biggest mania ever, I'm sorry but they need the rock to compete. You can argue if he's better or worse, but the fact of the matter is that he will sell tickets, especially in a match with Brock or hunter. With thag being said, I hope he come back to fight Brock.

Triple and h and rock can happen in 2017.

He just had a baby with his girlfriend this week apparently so I bet he is glad he is not booked for Wrestle Mania.
