This is kinda a debate i guess, because alot i seem to talk to thinks he uses them to much (which is a fair statement).

I personally have no problem with them as it's easy to set up and hit the move unlike The Tower On London because that would be to much stalling in the match. Also they can be hit out of nowhere and theres a fair few variations.

I would however personally prefer it if he had another big finisher because using the Lariat 2-3 times a match and people Kicking out of The Tower London often it would just seem a good fit.

A Lariat is a good stall move, you can hit it and fall down for a ref's 10 count or go rest on the ropes for about 15 seconds to sell off in ring time. I have no problem with a move unless you do it about 7-8 times a match. Personally I don't have a problem, it stalls time and makes the match look more credible.

THe main proble is with the Rebound Lariat. It looks hokey, more often that not it looks like Nigel is going to get stuck in between the ropes, and it takes a lot of time to perform. Its kind of surprsing that most people don't dodge the move.

As for The Tower of London, that's a move that has lost all credibility. It used to be a credible finisher, but now everyone kicks out of it. I think it would be better for McGuiness to use the Short-Arm Lariat as his finisher.

He does use the Lariats a bit too much...its nothing like Castagnoli's European Uppercut's though. The Rebound Lariat looks a bit silly at times because it gives opponents a lot of time to gain composure and dodge the move, however they rarely move making the move lose credibility. The Tower Of London is basically a secondary move now. Ever since Danielson, everyones been kicking out of it.
