That story on his doc was so fucking sad. Danielson went in with an injury too but didn't tell WWE about it and then after he was signed was able to get fixed up. Nigel was up front about it and then they passed on him for it and he couldn't afford the surgery he needed

I don't think that's why he retired but I don't remember the exact circumstances. I think that's all under control tho and wasn't the hurdle, he had other injuries.

TNA was where I first saw him bc that was around the time I started watching ROH but when I went back and watched older stuff man I fucking loved him
