Fresh from her eye catching appearance at the Billboard Music Awards, Nicki Minaj has confirmed that she is headlining her own tour. The platinum selling Hip Hop character spilled the beans during an interview with David Guetta to promote the single ‘Where Dem Girls At’.

Speaking directly to US Magazine, the 26 year old revealed:

“Next year, I’ll be headlining my own tourâ€, she also went on to discuss how her upcoming role as Britney Spears‘ support act is helping her prepare. “So this is my time to be a student and to learn and to absorb all of this information and then take that knowledge and create an amazing ‘Pink Friday’ tour at the top of 2012,’ she said.

With her militia of Barbs and Ken Barbs already proving their support by taking Pink Friday to platinum status, Minaj and Co. can be sure that this tour will have little trouble filling seats. Let’s hope this tour will showcase the talent so many have tried to discredit since her arrival on the music scene.

Former Ruff Ryders artist Eve has weighed in on the recent war of words between Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj saying the hip-hop veteran needs to lay off the verbal assault.

While Eve has respect for Kim, she thinks the Queen Bee is investing too much time in her nemesis.

If I was Kim's friend, I'd be like, yo. Because she's Kim, period," Eve said in an interview. "So she never has to feed. She shouldn't. It's bad. It's not a good look. If I was her friend, I'd tell her, yo, just come back bigger and better. The best way to get at people is to do you better than you've ever done you. So that's it...I love it. You know, it's definitely a nice group of females that's out representing, but because I come from hip-hop, I need more females in hip-hop," she continued. "Nicki definitely is holding the flag down, and a lot of people be wanting me to hate just because that's how girls supposed to do in hip-hop, but I'm loving everything she does. But we need more females, man. There's too much testosterone in the hip-hop game." (BBC Radio 1Xtra)</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
