James Head (pictured) will make his UFC debut against Nick Ring on June 11 in Vancouver.

TUF 11 competitor Nick “The Promiseâ€￾ Ring will take on Oklahoma’s James Head in a middleweight bout at UFC 131 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on June 11.

Ring (11-0) will return to the Octagon following a unanimous decision over Riki Fukuda at UFC 127 back in February. It will be the Canadian’s second UFC appearance since competing on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz in 2010.

Head (7-1) makes his UFC debut after defeating UFC veteran Gerald Harris via unanimous decision on an Xtreme Fight Night card in Oklahoma in February.

Head’s only loss came against TUF 3 semifinalist Jesse Forbes via unanimous decision in Aug. 2009.

UFC 131 is headlined with a heavyweight main event between TUF 12 coaches Brock Lensar and Junior dos Santos. The event will broadcast live on Pay-Per-View from Rogers Arena.
