Nick Newell is probably one of the best stories that we've heard in MMA. He's undefeated, and did we also mention he's missing most of his left forearm? It's safe to say that regardless of his disability he's regarded as probably one of the top lightweight fighters in the world today.

Unfortunately that also seems to draw a target sign on him for people who think that it's a disability that prevents him from functioning for everyday life, and Saturday saw such of an event. Nick Newell was heading to his car when a stranger attempted to steal his backpack. Newell reported the details on Twitter the day of the incident

Some drunk guy walked up to my car while I was backing up & tried to steal my backpack. I got out & he attacked me. That ended well for him.

10 minutes later, he followed up with:

He pushed me in to my car. Fortunately for him I just threw him on the ground. Dudes a jabroni, he's lucky I'm so nice.

Nick Newell is currently undefeated in his MMA career, posting a perfect 11-0 record with both of his wins in WSOF coming by Guillotine choke. He will meet Justin Gaethje for the WSOF lightweight title at WSOF 11 on July 5th in an yet to be announced arena.

He's easily becoming one of my favorite lightweights, I'm still pissed Dana wouldn't sign him though!
